Hiatus
My father died on Saturday morning while I was flying back to Toronto to see him.
My mother died 18 years ago and it was very sad - tragic really. Ever since, my father disapproved of the fact that he outlived her. In this, and in his strong Christian faith, he is at rest. He died very peacefully and one of his careworkers told us that his last words were to put his finger on her name tag and say,
"Jesus loves me and he loves you, and I am going to heaven now."
My sincere and deeply felt condolences to you.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are with you.
